So we rolled into Thunder Bay after a 13 hr drive from North Bay and decided to take an extra day to chill there, and skip staying in Winnipeg altogether, heading right to Regina after. After unpacking the car, some dinner and showers, we headed straight into a den full of lesbians (friends of Max’s gf Lindsay). An interesting chill for sure.
The following day we headed out to Whitefish Lake for some ice fishing in Max’s newly self-constructed ice hut. A friend of his brought some wood stoves he just bought from someone in the T Bay area who makes them. A great day and a great experience with a beautiful early moonrise. So Canadian, eh?
It was good to finally see how Max lives at school and we’re definitely stoked to see whats happening there on the way back home.
