Lake Louise, AB. Jan 13, 2012. Woke up a little later than expected and had to check out and grab lunch so we didn’t get out of Banff until pretty late. At the time we were debating having a chill day and riding the next day, but then we’d have to get another room and so on… so we decided to head out.
Before the hill we went to check out beautiful Lake Louise, even though it was a bit late. It’s a pretty small lake, and we definitely want to check it out again on the way home once the snow melts.
The terrain on the mountain was great (although at first there seemed to be endless mogul runs). We had a lot of fun in the bowls and the park at the end of the day, but the snow was definitely not the same as sunshine. Capped off the day with a beer on a patio at the bottom of the hill and the typical re-packing of the car, then headed off to Golden, BC.
